Black Umbrellas is another initiative of Charles Maisel, the social entrepreneur extraordinaire who also founded Men on the Side of the Road (MSR).

This non-profit organisation assists emerging black businesses by providing them with a working environment and support services to enable them to thrive. Because of the work we'd done for MSR, we were invited to design Black Umbrellas' marketing tools, annual report and website to professionalise their brand identity.

Soon afterwards, Shanduka offered to sponsor Black Umbrellas, and digitalJUNGLE was asked to assist with the resultant rebranding to Shanduka Black Umbrellas. We redesigned the logo and brand identity, incorporating this into their stationery and newsletter to reflect the change.
